Many players are drawn to blockchain games because they get paid and gain control of valuable in-game assets.
NFTs in Games
Of the few games making waves in blockchain gaming is Thetan Arena. It incorporates NFTs and rides on the decentralization of the KardiaChain blockchain to deploy a new architecture where the player takes the lead.
It is only necessary.
Statistics reveal that NFT adoption, especially in gaming, is gaining momentum. With NFTs, game developers become even more creative. Considering the pace of integration and flow of private investment in 2021 alone, NFTs will inevitably be a prominent fixture in gaming and other sectors.
For gamers, witnessing valuable in-game items selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars is thrilling, urging them to participate. There could be elements like initial complexities and clunky user interface making NFTs a hard sell for critics.
This can be overlooked because the space is only too nascent–and getting started. Exciting games like Thetan Arena add real-world value to gamers, literally empowering them.
Introducing Thetan Arena
Thetan Arena was launched as Open Beta in December 2021 on Google Store and App Store. Based on KardiaChain, it is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game where players can combine to form a team—or join others–to compete and earn rewards based on their abilities.
The game showcases a player’s unique capabilities and coordination and rewards them for their expertise.
Thetan Arena’s developers are unleashing unique gameplay where a player will automatically lose if they stop playing. A player’s hero can choose many weapons on set. They have to have a solid plan to counter and overcome enemies once they are dropped off from their star-ships.
The Gameplay
The Thetan Arena’s gameplay is simple. First, the player is assigned a hero called Raidon– a delta special operations team member under the Assassin Heroes class.
These are lethal, undetectable assassins who can eliminate the enemy in the first combo and escape. Still, they usually have low health levels but are armed with dizzying combat speeds and can inflict severe damage on enemies.
As the first hero a new player encounters, Raidon prefers to use a gun. Raidon’s express objective is to keep people safe. His shield is justice.
As a MOBA, you can play as a group of 4 or even create a Guild—for a small fee. Therefore, a player can match with other players from across the globe. The aim is to take down competitors as quickly as possible and accrue points.
Each player will be ranked individually depending on whether their team wins or not. The most important aspect is that a player from the winning team with maximum points is considered the game’s MVP.
Once a player grows in stature, they can explore gameplays like:
- Superstar—in this gameplay, eight players compete to collect a maximum of 50 match points in under four minutes.
- Deathmatch is where a team of four goes into battle to eliminate each other in a three-minute match. The winner collects elimination points.
- Towersiege is where a team of four is tasked with defending a tower while also strategizing how to take the other team’s tower. If a tower isn’t taken down, the winning team is the one with the most health points.
- Battle Royale is a competition pitting 12 players where the last one standing is the winner.
- Custom Battle is where players can choose to play in any mode of their preference, on any map area, or players of your choice.
In any of the above gameplay, the player’s heroes can be drawn from:
- Assassin Heroes like Raidon mentioned earlier.
- Marksman Heroes–their attacks are very effective even though health levels are in the mid-range zone. They are all tasked with keeping the DPS levels high during a game.
- Tank Heroes put themselves in front of the enemy, shielding companions against attacks. Their health levels are, as a result, at a higher level than other in-game characters.
Theta Arena: Exploring Skills and Rarity
Regardless of the hero a player has, their abilities vary and are measured in “Fury”. At the same time, each character’s stats vary depending on their in-game role. The hero’s ability is also directly determined by their rarity levels.
In Thetan Arena, Common, Epic, and Legendary heroes are differentiated by rarity based on inherent capabilities and skin type–which can be default, rare, or mythical.
Meanwhile, the skin value depends on its cosmetic looks, visual effects, and how rewarding they are on the battlefield. The skins’ frequency of availability on the marketplace determines its valuation.
In Thetan Arena, the heroes’ talent pool is randomized weekly. A player can only choose 15 random skills broadly divided into default, rare, and mythical, all of which can give a hero certain advantages on the game.

Thetan Arena Tokenomics

THC can only be claimed after at least 12 days. Afterward, THC can be harvested after every 48 hours.
For every THC redeemed, the game charges a four percent fee. This fee is charged in gTHG.
Thetan Arena’s also THG serves as a utility and governance token. It serves as the ecosystem’s medium of exchange.
